Salary: £95 £110 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic SEN TA to support pupils with additional needs in schools across the Gainsborough area. This role is ideal for someone committed to inclusive education and ready to provide meaningful support to pupils with varying needs.

Responsibilities as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support for pupils with SEN.
  • Assist the class teacher in implementing personalised learning plans.
  • Create a nurturing and supportive environment for all learners.
  • Help pupils develop independence, confidence, and social skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to support progress.

Requirements for SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN is desirable.
  • A compassionate, patient, and adaptable approach to learning support.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
  • Full CV covering the last 10 years, with any employment gaps explained.
