A leading education staffing agency is seeking a full-time Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant in Liverpool. You will support pupils with various special educational needs, including Autism and ADHD. We are seeking a dedicated Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join supportive primary school environments across the Wirral area. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide crucial one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs.

The Role & Key Requirements

You will be instrumental in helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, promoting inclusion, and ensuring a safe and engaging educational experience.

What We're Looking For:
  • Relevant Qualification or demonstrable experience supporting children with SEN is essential.

  • Minimum 6 months of UK Primary School work experience is preferred.

  • Mandatory: Must hold the Right to Work in the UK and possess an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.

  • Experience supporting pupils with needs such as Autism (ASC), ADHD, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), or Speech and Language Needs (SLCN) is highly desirable.

  • A resilient, patient, and proactive approach to supporting pupil development and emotional wellbeing.
