Job summary

Bloxham Grove Academy is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils' educational and social development, including those with emotional or behavioural needs. The role involves assisting class teachers, implementing behaviour plans, and helping pupils participate in activities across different settings.

Qualifications include Level 2 maths and English. DBS checks and right to work in the UK are typical requirements, with duties spanning classroom support, admin tasks, and involvement in PE

Qualifications

• Level 2 maths and English (GCSE or equivalent), or suitable equivalent experience.
• Ability to use ICT to support learning.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the educational and social development of pupils
• Help implement Termly Outcome Plans and Individual Behaviour Plans and monitor pupil progress
• Provide individual support inside and outside the classroom so pupils can take part in activities
• Support pupils with emotional or behavioural problems and build their social and independence skills
• Support class teachers with photocopying, proofreading and other administrative tasks
• Take an active role in supporting PE lessons
