Protocol Education is recruiting dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work within a specialist school supporting children with Severe Learning Difficulties, complex medical needs and Autism.

You’ll play an important role in helping pupils develop communication, social interaction and everyday life skills while supporting them in a safe and inclusive learning environment. Specialist schools in South Shields may provide highly personalised support.

Specialist schools in South Shields often provide highly personalised support for pupils with complex learning and communication needs.

About the role

• September 2026 start
• Full-time
• Monday-Friday
• 8:30am-3:30pm or 8:30am-4:30pm
• Term-time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
