The Role:
The school is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join the team from September 2025. This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with SEN in both classroom-based and practical learning activities, helping them reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils' learning and engagement under the direction of teaching staff and therapists
* Adapt classroom activities to meet a variety of learning styles and needs
* Help promote independence, communication, and confidence in students
* Assist with behaviour management, transitions, and emotional regulation
* Provide personal care where required
* Contribute to planning, observations, and reporting as part of a team
Person Specification:
* Previous experience with children or young people, ideally in an SEN or education setting
* Kind, patient, and enthusiastic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Willingness to learn and adapt to different support needs
* Ability to assist with personal care and behaviour support
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
