Job summary

Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated specialist teaching assistant in East Grinstead. The role involves supporting students with autism in a welcoming and modern environment. This full-time position is approximately 37.5 hours a week and offers permanent employment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Teach 1:1 according to weekly/daily/seasonal planning
• Providing group and/or individual activities, planned by the lead teacher
• Supporting the general well being of learners within the structure of the school
• Monitoring and evaluate students learning

Key skills and experience needed:

• The ability to teach and support learners that have various complex needs
• A willingness to learn and build relationships with learners
• The ability to work as an individual and as a part of the team
• Teaching Assistant experience
• Experience working in SEND settings is desirable but not essential
• Eligibility to work in the UK
