An Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ SEN School in Redditch is currently seeking dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team on a full-time basis. Candidates with experience across Early Years to Year 8 are encouraged to apply.

The provision supports pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs, including:
Autism (ASC)
PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties)
ADHD
The complexity and severity of needs vary across classes.
Full-Time position: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Term Time Only)
Potential for a permanent contract following successful placement
Work across Key Stages 1 to 4, providing both 1:1 and small group support
Support teachers with planning, lesson delivery, classroom management, and behaviour support
Assist with classroom organisation and learning displays
Monitor pupil progress and support their personal development
Contribute to creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning space
Each class typically has around 10 pupils, supported by 1 Teacher and 2 Learning Support Assistants, with strong backing from an excellent leadership team.
Experience supporting children or young people with SEN in schools or care/child-related settings
Confident supporting needs such as Autism, ADHD, Down’s Syndrome, PMLD, SEMH
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with pupils, staff, and families
Understanding of child development and behaviour management strategies
Resilience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply through GSL Education
Able to commit to full-time, term-time hours (8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday)
Primary and Secondary classroom support
Youth work or residential care
Psychology or Education graduates
Support work or nursing
