We are a dedicated education recruitment agency working closely with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school inDover, and we’re on the lookout for an exceptionalSEN Teaching Assistantto join their team fromSeptember 2025.

This is a full-time position supporting pupils aged 11–16 with a range ofsevere and complex learning difficulties, including physical disabilities, communication needs, and sensory impairments. You’ll work closely with teaching staff and therapists to deliver tailored support that helps each student thrive both academically and personally.

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with EHCPs
  • Assist with personal care and mobility where required
  • Adapt learning materials to meet individual needs
  • Foster a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in any setting)
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for inclusive education
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE, NVQ, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
