SEN Teaching Assistant

Salary: 95 - 120

At Empowering Learning, we are recruiting for several highly esteemed mainstream secondary schools in Redhill, seeking 6 individuals of the highest calibre to work as SEN Teaching Assistants. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support students with Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Physical Disabilities, etc.

What to expect as an SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Working on a 1:1 basis with designated children
  • Collaborating with experienced professionals, including class teachers, SLTs, educational psychologists, and other SEN TAs
  • Creating learning materials aligned with the teachers' learning plans

What we're looking for in our ideal SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Graduate in a related field such as Psychology, Social Care, Special Education Needs, etc.
  • Goals of becoming an educational psychologist or similar role
  • Experience working with individuals with special needs
  • Possession or willingness to obtain a DBS check
