SEN Teaching Assistant - Psychology Graduate
Location: Brent, North West London
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant (Primary)
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 per annum

We are working with a warm, inclusive, and high-achieving primary school in the heart of Brent that is looking to welcome a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant team on a permanent basis.

About the School:
This 2-form entry primary school is rated 'Good' by Ofsted and is known for its nurturing ethos, supportive staff team, and commitment to inclusive education. The school prides itself on its strong SEN provision and its focus on emotional wellbeing, offering a fantastic platform for a Psychology graduate to gain invaluable experience.

You'll be supporting children with a range of needs, including autism (ASC), speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges. Working closely with the SENCo and class teachers, you'll help create an engaging and supportive environment where every child can thrive.

The Role:
* One-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEN

* Helping pupils develop confidence, communication, and independence

Ideal Candidate:
* A degree in Psychology (2:1 or above preferred)
* A genuine passion for SEN and inclusive education
* Resilient, empathetic, and proactive
* Previous experience with children (formal or informal) is desirable
* Long-term interest in a career in education, SEN, or child development
