Job summary

ANZUK Education in Epsom, Surrey, is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with special educational needs. The role involves 1:1 and small group support, assisting with adapted learning activities, and helping pupils progress academically and emotionally.

The ideal candidate will have SEND experience, a relevant qualification (CACHE Level 2/3 or degree), and a commitment to safeguarding. This is a full-time, temporary position through ANZUK Education.

Qualifications

• Have a relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, or equivalent) or a degree.
• Have proven experience supporting children with SEND in a primary school setting (essential).
• Demonstrate strong understanding of SEND strategies and inclusive practice.
• Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, behaviour and engagement.
• Show a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN on a 1:1 and small group basis.
• Assist the class teacher in delivering adapted learning activities.
• Maintain high expectations for pupil progress, behaviour and engagement.
• Support pupils’ social, emotional and personal development.
• Follow and implement EHCP targets and intervention strategies.
