Job summary

ANZUK Education in Tonbridge is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding team dedicated to supporting children with profound, severe and complex needs. The role focuses on helping pupils access learning through 1:1 and small-group support under the SEN team.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a SEND school or SEND mainstream provision (primary or secondary).
• A passion for supporting children with SEND, including profound, severe and complex needs.
• SEND/TA qualification (desirable).
• Flexibility and resilience in a highly rewarding but demanding environment.
• Strong communication skills, including use of non-verbal communication methods.
• Ability to support personal care, including feeding, toileting and moving & handling, with dignity and respect.
• Ability to work full-time school hours.

• Contract Type: Full-Time (Mon – Friday)

About the role
