A welcoming and nurturing specialist school in Ealing is looking for a compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). This setting is known for its person-centred approach and vibrant community—where every small step forward is a big win worth celebrating.

You’ll join a dedicated team who work hand-in-hand to create learning environments full of patience, encouragement, and meaningful engagement. • Assisting pupils with physical, sensory, and complex communication needs

  • Promoting confidence, communication, and independence in every interaction

  • Working alongside teachers, therapists, and medical teams to deliver holistic support

  • Helping to maintain a calm, safe, and joyful space where every child can flourish

Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience supporting children or young people with PMLD, complex needs, or in care roles

  • Calm, patient, and quick to adapt when plans change

  • Confident using or learning communication tools like Makaton, switches, or eye-gaze tech

  • A genuine team player who values inclusive, child-led education

  • Big heart, small ego, and always up for a challenge

Requirements:
  • Enhanced Child Workforce DBS (on the Update Service or willing to apply)

  • Right to work in the UK
