Are you an experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant with manual handling training? We’re recruiting for a rewarding full-time SEN TA position in Pentre, working within a supportive and inclusive school environment.
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term
Start Date: Immediate
You will support pupils with additional learning needs, including physical or complex needs, requiring both patience and practical support. Your duties will include:
Assisting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
Supporting physical care needs, including lifting and repositioning (manual handling)
Promoting independence and inclusion
Working closely with the SENCO and class teacher to deliver tailored learning
Previous SEN TA experience in a school or care setting
Up-to-date manual handling training
Empathetic, calm, and resilient attitude
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
Daily rate of £89.38
