About the role

SEN Teaching Assistant – Transitioning from Care and Support Work

Location: Batley

Employment Type: Full Time and Part Time Available, Monday - Friday

Start Dates: Flexible

Salary depends on experience, training, or qualifications. Recent experience within the last 2 years working with children or young people in settings like schools, nurseries, childcare, youth work, play, or care is required. References from these roles must be obtainable.

If you have worked in care, support work, residential settings, supported living, or community support, you already possess relevant skills!

This role offers consistent hours (8:30 am - 3:30 pm), no night shifts, and term-time only work.

We support a specialist school in Batley seeking individuals experienced in supporting vulnerable children aged 3-19 with needs such as ASD, PMLD, Personal Care, Complex Needs, Mobility, SEMH, and MLD.

The Role

Work involves supporting pupils with additional needs in a school environment.
