Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning and development, individually or in small groups.
• Help create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Support pupils with a range of special educational needs.
• Encourage communication, confidence, independence and social development.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation.
• Provide emotional and behavioural support when needed.
• Help pupils manage transitions and changes during the day.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Support pupils to develop essential life and educational skills.
• Follow individual learning plans, behaviour strategies and safeguarding procedures.
