Teaching Assistant Level 2

Position type: Permanent

Hours / Weeks: 32.5 hours per week - 8.30am – 3.30pm (5 days per week term time + staff meetings)

Salary: NJC Grade 5, SCP 13-15, pro rata to hours/weeks, totaling £28,464 (SCP 13)

St Nicholas is a popular choice for parents of children with special needs in Croydon. It is a good community special school for 265 pupils aged 4-11 with MLD, SLD, ASD, Speech and Language Needs, Down's Syndrome, and Complex Needs. We provide bespoke education using state-of-the-art facilities, offering the full range of EYFS and National Curriculum, tailored to individual needs. Pupils are supported in small class sizes by qualified and experienced staff to help them reach their full potential.

  • Holding at least an NVQ Level 2 in a relevant area.
  • Prior experience of working with children with Special Education Needs.
