Job Description:

Would you like a new challenge in an outstanding Special School for students and pupils between the ages of 3-11 with a range of Special Educational Needs, in a friendly, supportive environment committed to teamwork and joint curriculum planning?

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Passion for working with children
  • Excellent attendance record
  • Ability to work successfully as part of a team
  • A commitment to high expectations to meet the needs of all children

Experience of working in a school or with children with special needs is desirable but not essential.

Hours of work are from 8:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Flexible working options will be considered, and pay will be adjusted accordingly.

This role requires confidence and capability to work in a hydrotherapy pool environment, which may include getting into the water with pupils.

Interviews and lesson observations can be arranged immediately if you are interested!

We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. A safeguarding responsibility will be part of the role if appointed.

The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service, and employment will be contingent upon references.
