Do you have experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs?
Academics are currently working with a vibrant and inclusive primary school based in Wandsworth, seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join them from September. Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO, you will support pupils with a variety of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, and behavioural challenges. Your role will be key in promoting inclusive learning and managing behaviour positively.
Location: Primary school, Wandsworth, London
Start Date: Immediate or September start
Contract: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: 90- 110 per day (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with SEN
Promote inclusive learning and positive behaviour management
Help create a supportive and nurturing classroom environment
Liaise effectively with teachers, therapists, and parents to support pupil progress
What We're Looking For:
Experience working with children with SEN in a school or similar setting
SEN Teaching assistant looking to make an impact in a flourishing primary school
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Good literacy and numeracy skills
Enhanced DBS clearance
