ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work in an SEN School in Smethwick full-time.

The role

A well-established school seeks an enthusiastic, devoted, and caring teaching assistant to work with children with profound and multiple learning difficulties. The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support children on a one-to-one and small-group basis in a classroom setting, working alongside a Teacher and an additional teaching assistant.

Requirements
As the suitable candidate you will:

  • Have a suitable qualification for working with children and young people such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce.
  • Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities.
  • Be confident in your abilities and skills to promote happy and confident learners.
  • Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are a suitable qualification for working with children and experience working with special education needs.
