SEN Teaching Assistant - Oxford - ASAP Start

Complex Needs SEN TA in Mainstream School

£89 - £95 per day dependent on experience

An excellent mainstream primary school based in Oxford is looking for a SEN teaching assistant to join them ASAP. This role involves working with a group of SEN children with Autism, ADHD, and social/emotional mental health issues. A one-year contract is available, and the school seeks someone with experience and understanding of challenging but rewarding SEN teaching assistant roles.

Candidate Requirements
  • Degree or Level 3 qualification
  • Experience working with Special Educational Needs such as Autism, ADHD, or dyslexia
  • Minimum GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
Responsibilities

Your role will involve supporting individual needs of SEN children across various needs including ADHD, ASD, global delay, SEMH, physical, and behavioral challenges. Effective behavior management strategies are essential to monitor and diffuse difficult situations.
