Job description

SEN Teaching Assistant - East Cornwall

Location: EastCornwall
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Flexible - full-time and part-time hours available to suit you
Pay: 13.90- 15.00 per day

We're working with schools in East Cornwall that are looking for a calm, supportive, and reliable SEN Teaching Assistant's to join their team. This is a flexible position-perfect if you're looking for something that fits around your life, whether that's full-time, part-time, or something in between.

You'll be supporting children with additional needs such as autism, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties. Whether you're offering one-to-one support, working with small groups, or helping in class more generally, you'll play a key role in helping pupils feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.



We're looking for someone who:

  • Is patient, adaptable, and genuinely passionate about working with children

  • Has some experience in SEN or supporting young people (education or care settings welcome)

  • Can build positive relationships with students and staff

  • Holds a DBS on the update service or is happy to apply for one (we'll guide you through it)
