An exciting opportunity has arisen for teaching assistants to join a primary autistic school. The students are between 4 and 11 years old and have autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). Some students may also have additional sensory, physical impairments, or challenging behaviors.
As a Teaching Assistant at this autistic primary school, you will provide learning support to individuals and groups, supporting teaching staff. Your role will involve using various resources to inspire pupils' understanding, focusing on early communication, interaction, and cognitive skills vital for development and learning.
They are looking for candidates with early years experience or a passion for working with children on the autistic spectrum. Experience is not necessary.
