SEN Teaching Assistant - High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire - PAYE - Long-term and Short-term work available

Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Type: Full time / part time

Salary: 90- 100 P/D PAYE

Location: High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire

Tradewind are currently partnered with several outstanding mainstream and SEN schools in the High Wycombe area who are looking for motivated educators who can have a real impact on their SEN students.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be working predominantly on a 1-1 basis with children with a range of different needs including ASD, ADHD, MLD and global learning delays.

You will be responsible for following the child's educational health care plan and liaising with the SENDCO and parents where appropriate to provide feedback on progress. You will also be involved with any decisions regarding areas for improvement.

These roles will be temporary in the first instance but for the strongest candidates, you will often be offered a permanent role with our partner schools.

What do we look for in a SEN Teaching Assistant?

  • A genuine interest in childcare and working with children with SEN
  • A reliable person who can provide consistency for SEN Children
  • Strong relationship builder with parents, staff and most importantly children
  • Previous experience with SEN would be highly beneficial - whether in a personal or professional capacity.
