SEN Teaching Assistant - Ealing, West London

Daily Rate: 90 - 110
Location: Ealing, West London
Contract Type: 5 days a week (Full-Time)

Hours: 8:30AM - 4:00PM
Start Date: Immediate
Duration: Long Term

About the School:
A well-established mainstream secondary school in the Ealing area of West London, looking for passionate Teaching Assistants to work through the mainstream and SEN units of the school. A high achieving, dynamic environment focused on students' performance and thorough support.

About the role - Teaching Assistant:
Providing 1:1 support and assistance to students aged 11 - 16. Working alongside talented teachers, the Behaviour support team, and supportive senior leaders, the role is ideal for someone looking to support young people in gaining confidence and life skills while at school.

The role will consist of:

  • Offering support to the class teacher.
  • Providing support for individuals and groups of pupils, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans.
  • Building good student-teacher rapport.

The successful applicants will have:

  • Previous experience working with Autism, Speech Language, and Communication difficulties.
  • Previous experience managing challenging behaviour.
  • Ideally, experience working with children and/or young people.
  • Valid and enhanced child or child and adult DBS check.

To be eligible for this role you must have an Enhanced Child or Child & Adult Workforce barred list DBS Certificate registered on the update service.
