SEN Teaching Assistant - PMLD Setting Chorley
Location: Chorley
Start Date: Immediately / After May Half-Term
Contract: Full-Time
Salary: 90 - 110 per day (dependent on experience)

Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant with experience supporting students with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)? We are working with a welcoming SEN school in Chorley that is looking to expand their team with someone who truly wants to make a difference.



The Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with complex learning and physical needs

  • Assist with personal care, mobility, and communication

  • Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver a tailored curriculum

  • Create a safe, stimulating environment for learners



The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working in a PMLD or SEN setting is highly desirable

  • Comfortable supporting students with personal care needs

  • Patient, caring, and resilient with a proactive approach

  • Available full-time and able to travel to Chorley

  • All offers are subject to an enhanced DBS check on the update service

  • A minimum of two professional references covering the last two years

  • A CV covering your full employment and education history, with any gaps clearly explained
