An established industry player is seeking passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to support students with Special Educational Needs in Burton-on-Trent. Pay: £85 - £90 per day (dependent on experience)

The Supply Register is excited to partner with John Taylor Multi-Academy Trust to recruit dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants for their schools in Burton. We are offering a variety of flexible roles across both primary and secondary schools, providing a rewarding opportunity to support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in their academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:Assist teachers in delivering tailored lessons and maintaining effective classroom management for SEN students.
Help students stay engaged, complete set work, and support them in overcoming challenges.
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to help students with their individual learning needs.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for students with SEN.
Assist with classroom preparations, including the setup of resources and materials.
Report any concerns or issues regarding students well-being to the relevant staff, ensuring safeguarding protocols are followed.
Experience: Previous experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational role is essential.
Enhanced DBS: Must be registered on the Update Service (or be willing to apply).
Passion for Education: A strong commitment to supporting and inspiring students with SEN.
Communication Skills: Ability to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently when required.
Adaptability: Flexible and comfortable working with students with a wide range of needs.
