Job summary

Ten90 Recruitment Group Ltd is seeking a Teaching Assistant to work with students with Special Educational Needs. You will support learning alongside the class teacher in an inclusive, engaging environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with lessons, supporting small groups, helping implement IEPs, managing classroom routines, and providing personal care where needed, all within safeguarding guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people, especially those with SEN.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Empathy, patience and the ability to work in a team or independently.
• Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) or equivalent (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering lessons and ensuring student engagement.
• Provide one‑on‑one or small group support and monitor progress.
• Support development of IEPs and personal care when required.
• Collaborate with teachers and SENCO and help with resources.
• Follow safeguarding policies and maintain student records.
