SEN Teaching Assistant - Make a Difference in Infant School! (Crawley)

Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant ready to make a real difference in the lives of young learners?

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our supportive team at a mainstream school in Crawley, West Sussex. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work across the entire infant school, supporting students in EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) through Year 2. You will be providing essential 1:1 support to a student with additional needs while also assisting teachers in various classrooms.

Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored 1:1 support to a student with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring their individual needs are met.
  • Assist across classrooms in EYFS, Reception, Year 1, and Year 2, ensuring all students are fully supported and engaged in their learning.
  • Collaborate closely with the class teachers and SENCO to implement effective learning strategies.
  • Help foster an inclusive and nurturing learning environment, promoting independence and engagement for all students.
  • Provide regular feedback and updates on the student\'s progress to teachers and parents.
We are looking for a candidate who:
  • Possesses previous experience working with children, ideally in an SEN setting within an infant school environment.
