Position: SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant (Secondary - KS3 & KS4)
Do you have a passion for making a real difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? A welcoming secondary school in Hull is looking for a committed and compassionate SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a student on a one-to-one basis starting September 2025.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on providing personalised support, building trust, and helping students overcome barriers to learning-academically, socially, and emotionally.
About the Role:
* Provide 1:1 support for a student with identified SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or learning difficulties)
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to follow support plans and learning strategies
* Support the student in both academic work and classroom routines
* Encourage engagement, communication, and confidence-building throughout the school day
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents where needed
