Job summary

Prospero Teaching is looking for passionate, proactive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support the learning of pupils in one of our inspirational Primary Schools across in Durham on a full-time basis. The role involves supporting pupils with varied SEN, delivering intervention sessions, and developing understanding of diverse learning needs alongside Class Teachers.

Work includes breaktimes and lunchtimes across the School. Salary is 88–110 per day with hours 08:30–15:30.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with Children in Schools in the UK.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Hold Right to Work in the UK and DBS certificate or willingness to process one.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN on 1:1 basis and in small groups.
• Deliver intervention sessions to boost understanding and progress.
• Support across the school at breaktimes and lunchtimes as required.
