Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant to join our client schools in Ely, Cambridgeshire. You will support pupils with additional needs across classrooms, on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them progress academically and socially.

Roles are available for immediate starts and from September, with competitive daily rates and term-time hours. An enhanced DBS is preferred, and experience with pupils with autism, ADHD, SEMH, MLD or SLD is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Support pupils within the classroom, on a 1:1 basis, and in small group settings.
• Help students achieve their academic, social, and personal development goals.
• Promote confidence, independence, and positive engagement with learning.
• Assist with emotional regulation and behaviour support strategies.
• Support pupils with personal care where required.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff to provide the best outcomes for students.
