Job Description:

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately on a full-time basis until July. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive environment, assisting students with special educational needs and helping them to achieve their best in a nurturing and inclusive school setting.

The Role:

1. Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), both 1:1 and in small groups.
2. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans and provide tailored support.
3. Assisting with social, emotional, and behavioural needs, promoting inclusion and well-being.
4. Helping to create and maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages all children to thrive.
5. Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
6. Supporting the preparation of teaching resources and adapting materials to suit the needs of SEN students.

The Ideal Candidate:

1. Experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred.
2. Understanding of SEN strategies and how to implement them effectively in a classroom setting.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
