SEN Teaching Assistant - Headington - ASAP Start

Complex Needs SEN TA in Mainstream School

£89 - £95 per day, dependent on experience

An excellent mainstream primary school located in Headington is seeking a SEN teaching assistant to join their team ASAP. This role involves supporting a group of SEN children with various needs, including Autism, ADHD, and social/emotional mental health issues. The position is offered on a one-year contract, requiring candidates with experience and understanding of challenging but rewarding SEN teaching assistant roles.

Candidate Requirements
  • Degree or Level 3 qualification
  • Experience working with Special Educational Needs such as Autism, ADHD, or Dyslexia
  • GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
Responsibilities

Supporting individual needs of SEN children across various conditions, including ADHD, ASD, global delay, SEMH, physical, and behavioral challenges. Effective behavior management strategies are essential to monitor and diffuse difficult situations.
