Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment LTD. is seeking enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a supportive team in Hackney.

You will work across the school supporting learning activities, including 1:1 and small group interventions, and assist with planning, preparation and assessment under direction of teachers. We are looking for candidates with at least 1 year of SEN experience, strong behaviour management and confidence leading groups.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience supporting students with SEN.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Confident with leading groups.
• Passionate about supporting children's learning.
• Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support learning activities across the school including whole class cover when required.
• Support teachers in planning, preparation and assessment.
• Deliver Target Interventions to help pupils progress.
• Work closely with children of varying abilities including those with SEN.
• Contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Support students on a 1:1 basis.

Contract: Full Time Cover or Daily Cover - Term Time Only

Are you an enthusiastic and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make an impact within The London Borough of Hackney? Tradewind are seeking confident, motivated and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistants, SEN Teaching Assistants and 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to joining a friendly staff team within this amazing London Borough.

As a Teaching Assistant across the school, you will;

• Support learning activities across the school including whole class cover when required
• Support teachers in planning, preparation and assessment
• Deliver Target Interventions to help pupils progress
• Work closely with children of varying abilities including those with SEN
• Contribute to a positive learning environment
• Support students on a 1:1 basis
