Job summary

Vision for Education is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Llanelli on a flexible supply basis. This role offers the chance to gain flexible work while making a real difference to children with additional learning needs in Swansea and surrounding areas.

You will support pupils with SEN/ALN, including ASC, ADHD, speech and language needs, and other learning difficulties, while working with caring teams across multiple settings.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN or ALN.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, caring, and adaptable approach.
• A genuine passion for supporting children with Autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and additional learning needs.

Responsibilities

• Support children with SEN and ALN in the classroom.
• Deliver one-to-one support and small-group interventions.
• Work closely with the class teacher to support learning, behaviour, and emotional wellbeing.
• Adapt learning activities to meet individual pupil needs.
• Promote an inclusive, positive learning environment.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• Work flexibly across a variety of primary schools throughout Swansea.
