Job summary

Monarch Education is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in a specialist school in NG3. You will work alongside teachers to help pupils access learning, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.

Role starts September 2026 in NG3, with flexible working opportunities and ongoing safeguarding training. You will contribute to a safe, inclusive classroom and collaborate closely with staff to promote pupil development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Patient, caring, and positive attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Commitment to supporting children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN in the classroom.
• Assist with learning activities and lessons.
