Job summary

Abbey Hey Primary Academy in Manchester is seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Special Educational Needs across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. You will work closely with teachers and SEND staff to implement IEPs and personal support programs.

We value dedicated, patient staff who can build positive relationships with pupils, families and professionals. The role offers term-time hours with additional development opportunities within the school's Trust.

Qualifications

• Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent.
• Experience of supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.
• Willingness to undertake relevant training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 with learning and development.
• Assist Teachers with IEPs, behaviour plans and personalised support programmes.
• Promote inclusion and ensure all children can participate in activities.
• Support pupils with personal care and wellbeing as required.
