Job summary

Academics Ltd is partnering with a primary school in Redbridge to recruit a SEN Teaching Assistant for the EYFS. The role focuses on supporting young learners with additional needs, delivering 1:1 and small-group support, and helping children build confidence during early education.

The post runs from ASAP through to July 2027 with a strong possibility of a permanent position thereafter. A nurturing, phonics‑friendly environment is emphasised, aiming to develop literacy and early language skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar SEN and/or EYFS setting is required, and experience in both Early Years and supporting children with additional needs would be a significant advantage.
• You'll be patient, observant and enthusiastic, with the ability to respond to each child's needs and celebrate progress, however big or small. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential.

Pay: 93- 120 per day

Academics are looking for a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant - EYFS to join a primary school in Redbridge. This is a brilliant opportunity to support young learners with additional needs during a crucial stage of their development, with a contract running from ASAP until July 2027 and the possibility of a permanent position afterwards.
