Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN, especially with social-emotional and mental health needs.
• Ability to work in a classroom and provide 1:1 or group support.
• Must drive and have access to own car.
• Empathetic, patient, and able to manage challenging behaviour.

Responsabilités

• Assist the classroom teacher in providing tailored support for students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Work closely with children who have additional needs, particularly those affected by trauma and social-emotional difficulties.
• Create a nurturing and safe environment that fosters emotional and academic development.
• Support children with behavioural needs and implement strategies to support positive learning experiences.
• Foster strong communication with parents and other staff members to ensure the best outcomes for students.
