SEN Teaching Assistant – East London (September 2025 Start)

Do you have a passion for supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)?


Teaching Personnel is looking for a caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to work in specialist schools across East London, including:
Tower Hamlets | Newham | Hackney | Waltham Forest | Redbridge | Barking & Dagenham

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of pupils with SEND, starting in September 2025.

The Role:

  • Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of SEN needs, including autism, complex needs, and PMLD.
  • Assist with personal care (experience is a plus).
  • Use Team Teach strategies (training available if needed) to promote positive behaviour.
  • Work alongside teachers, therapists, and SENCOs to create a supportive learning environment.
