Job summary

Swanmore School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support Team. This role is 32.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks), Monday to Friday 8.15am to 3:15pm, to support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.

The successful candidate will be adaptable, able to relate well to pupils and staff, and ideally bring experience in raising literacy levels and developing learning resources. A genuine desire to make a difference is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience raising literacy levels and developing resources would be an advantage.
• SEN specialism and enthusiasm are essential to join this forward looking team.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for pupils in and out of the classroom with a variety of Special Educational Needs.
• Aiding teacher delivery and helping create inclusive activities to support learning.
