Swanmore School is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our Learning Support Team. This role is 32.5 hours per week, term time only (39 weeks), Monday to Friday 8.15am to 3:15pm, to support pupils with a range of Special Educational Needs.
The successful candidate will be adaptable, able to relate well to pupils and staff, and ideally bring experience in raising literacy levels and developing learning resources. A genuine desire to make a difference is essential.

Required as soon as possible to work as a member of ourdynamic Learning Support Team providing support for pupils in and out of the classroom with a variety of Special Educational Needs. Adaptability is essential as is the ability to relate well to both pupils and teachers. Knowledge and experience of raising literacy levels and developing resources would be an advantage; however, enthusiasm and energy are the priority to join this forward looking team, along with having an SEN specialism.
A desire to make a difference will be equally valued along with life experience and a good sense of humour.
A comprehensive induction programme is in place and training is always on going.
