Job description

Pay: £90 - £100 per day
Location: Derby & nearby areas
Sector: Education – Special Educational Needs (SEN)

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs? Do you have the experience and resilience to support pupils in achieving their full potential? We are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to work within schools across Stafford and surrounding areas. If you have a background in supporting children with additional needs and disabilities—including autism, PMLD, SpLD, SEMH or other Special Educational Needs—we’d love to hear from you!

Your Role
  1. Supporting pupils across different Key Stages in accessing their education.
  2. Assisting students with learning activities set by teachers and encouraging independence.
  3. Promoting confidence, inclusion, and a positive school experience.
  4. Using effective communication methods such as PECS, Makaton, BSL, or other SEN strategies.
