The role involves hands-on support, including personal care and moving and handling, in a busy SEN environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with significant physical and medical needs.
• Comfort with personal care and moving and handling.
• Understanding of the demands of a specialist SEN environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with complex needs.
• Assist with personal care, including toileting, hygiene and changing when required.
• Support pupils with moving and handling, including the use of specialist equipment such as hoists, in line with training and individual care plans.
