SEN Teaching Assistant (Complex Needs & ASc)

Prospero Teaching are currently seeking experienced Teaching Assistants for an ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted rated SEN School located in the Poole area.

The school provides specialist education and care for pupils aged 2-19 years with Complex Learning Difficulties & Associated Needs including: Autism, Speech & Language Disorders, and Challenging Behaviour.

As a successful candidate, you will join a dedicated team providing a nurturing and caring environment for all pupils to excel and ensuring the best education possible.

Previous experience working within a school setting and/or with special educational needs would be advantageous but not essential, as ongoing training will be offered throughout the role.

This fantastic school offers a pupil-centred educational programme encouraging the development of all pupils.

Experience, Training, and Qualifications required for the SEN Teaching Assistant role:

• Previous TA experience is required, ideally within the SEN Sector, although this is not essential, provided you have the right attitude and desire.
• A passion for working with children with ASD, Aspergers, Complex Needs
• Proactive in the classroom and a willingness to join in with class activities.
• You should have lots of energy and enthusiasm with a positive attitude towards working with SEN students.
• Happy to undertake personal care responsibilities
