Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils in primary and secondary settings across the Stockton area. You will assist teachers with daily learning activities, work with small groups or one-on-one, and help pupils stay engaged and motivated.

Successful applicants will have experience with children, a proactive and reliable approach, and excellent communication with pupils and staff. A positive attitude and adaptability are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school setting or similar environment.
• Proactive, reliable and ready to get stuck in.
• Communicates well with pupils and staff.
• Brings a positive attitude and lots of patience.
• Adaptable — no two days are ever the same.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the class teacher with day-to-day learning activities.
• Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis with pupils.
• Helping to keep students engaged, focused, and motivated.
• Assisting with classroom management and organisation.
• Supporting pupils with additional needs where required.
