There is an exciting opportunity to secure a 1-year contract at an ‘Outstanding’ two-form entry Mainstream Primary School based in Bristol. This is a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant role supporting children with challenging behaviour and social, emotional, and mental health needs. The position begins ASAP.

The ideal candidate will have a degree and some experience working with SEN, such as Autism, ADHD, or dyslexia. Confidence and experience in managing challenging behaviour are essential. Minimum standards include Maths and English GCSE graded C or above. Team teach training is highly desirable.

This role involves supporting children with needs including ADHD, ASD, dyslexia, global delay, SEMH, and physical and behavioural challenges. It offers valuable experience for aspiring teachers, with potential enrollment in the School’s Direct Teacher Training Programme starting September 2025.
