Job summary

Brookfields School in Widnes is seeking a caring and committed Casual Teaching Assistant to support pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties across the school.

You will work alongside teachers and other specialist staff to provide learning, development and wellbeing support, including personal care where required, in a nurturing, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Supporting pupils with learning and development both in and outside the classroom.
• Providing individual and small-group support as required.
• Supporting pupils with a range of complex needs in a patient, caring and positive manner.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and participation.

Responsibilities

• Working closely with teachers and the wider school team.
• Supporting the personal care and wellbeing needs of pupils where required.
