Position: SEN Teaching Assistants

Location: Aylesbury

School: SEN Setting

About the Role:

Are you passionate about supporting learners with diverse needs? An established SEN school in Aylesbury is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join their team. Their school caters to students with a range of needs, including autism, speech and language challenges, attention difficulties, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and moderate learning difficulties.

They are looking for individuals who ideally hold a CACHE/NVQ Level 2/3 qualification but will also consider those with strong experience in supporting learners with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students in their learning and development, both academically and socially.
  • Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a positive learning environment.
  • Support the delivery of the curriculum tailored to each student's needs.

Requirements:

  • CACHE/NVQ Level 2/3 qualification is ideal, but unqualified candidates with strong SEN experience will be considered.
  • Experience working with children with ASD, Asperger's Syndrome, SCLN, ADD, ADHD, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, and MLD.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
